Welcome to our campaign page. One of functions is to fight for the rights

Care Court Fees
The case of Baby P awakens feelings in most of the nation. The government
increased the fee for Care Proceedings from £150 to £4000
in May 2008. We believe that this will deter Councils from bringing care
proceedings
on the grounds of finance.
Our petition, which is now closed, urged upon government, not only on
behalf of our members and beneficiaries, but also in partnership with the Association
of Lawyers for Children, demanded that the government lower the fee to
prevent decisions being taken on the grounds of cost rather than need.
The petition has been sent to the Ministry of Justice with a call for
