TrainersNicola Harney - chair of ACAL, who since 1999 has been on the executive committee of ACAL. Until the summer of 2006 she was a partner at Stewarts solicitors of London. where she led a department specialising in claims for the disabled who had been abused. Lee Moore: A barrister who gave up her practise to become a founder President of ACAL and Managing Director of Lee Moore & Co. in 1997. She is a pioneer within the law on matters concerning abuse in childhood. Lee designs highly original training and provides consultancy services to professionals working with abuse. She also offers a professional witness statement service, and witness training. She is a regular presenter at conferences on child abuse and is in a unique position to be able to provide the experiential and professional perspectives on abuse Peter Garsden - Peter is the Vice-President of A.C.A.L. and author of this Web Site. He is a Partner in Abney Garsden Mcdonald, Solicitors of Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire. and a P.I. Panel member. He heads a specialist department of Child Abuse Personal Injury Lawyers and is the co-ordinating solicitor for most Child Abuse compensation claims and group actions in the North of England, including a 5 home 300 Claimant action based in Manchester. over the Chair in February 2005 when Lee
Moore retired. He qualified as a solicitor in 1995. He is a member
of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel and the Association of Personal
Injury Lawyers. He set up his firm, Malcolm Johnson & Co. on the 1st
May 2002 and practices from Surbiton in Kingston upon Thames. He is a
co-author of "Child Abuse Compensation Claims" published by
the Law Society and has lectured for ACAL. Malcolm is a founder member
of ACAL and from the 1st November 2004, he runs our referral and membership
