Gary Walker works at Enable Law.
Gary Walker is a solicitor at Enable Law where he heads up their specialist child abuse team. Gary has been representing survivors of child abuse for more than 10 years and represents both adults and children who have suffered sexual and physical abuse and neglect.
Gary has brought claims against local authorities where abuse has happened in the family home, in foster placements or in residential homes. He has also successfully brought claims where abuse took place in schools and other institutions as well as claims against individual perpetrators of abuse and the church.
The specialist team at Enable Law believe that the legal process can be an important step in a survivor's journey and work alongside a number of support organisations, psychiatrists and other experts to try and ensure a positive outcome for all their clients. Each case is different and Gary, with his specialist team listen carefully to each client to try and understand what they aim to achieve through the legal process.
Gary strongly believes that compensation is not just about money but about ensuring his client is given the best possible chance going forward and seeking some form of justice for what they have been subjected to.
Gary is also a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence panel and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
